Here are some of my current thoughts about gift-giving, whether during the holiday season or anytime of year.
Even though we usually think of gifts as something we give to others, I think it’s highly appropriate to give gifts to ourselves as well! When I look back on my life, I realize that the best gifts I bought for myself are those that “keep on giving.”
When I was 22 years old, I bought myself a guitar. I didn’t know how to play it at the time but loved music. I still have this guitar. I learned how to play it and have used it to lead singing in quite a few different groups over the decades.
