When my wife first mentioned to me that she would like to take a nutrition class, I said to her "Why? We eat good now, but that's fine with me, go ahead." They were having a potluck at the last class which I attended. I was surprised at how tasty the food was. She made a commitment to try it for three weeks, which she did and I agreed.
It has been eight years now of eating a plant based diet. It is almost a miracle how my health has benefitted. My cholesterol dropped one hundred points and now averages in the 150s. My blood pressure also dropped from 150-160 down to 110-130.
Sinus infections plagued me every winter but now are almost a thing of the past.
I don't know where I would be if I was not introduced to this way of eating.
